Leadership Training Courses in Dubai: Management, Strategy and Quality

Leadership training courses in Dubai come in four forms: short open courses of 1 to 5 days from training institutes, certification programmes such as Lean Six Sigma and ISO lead auditor, executive education from universities and business schools, and full management degrees. Short courses build specific skills quickly; certifications and degrees give you a credential that employers can verify.

This page covers leadership and management skills, strategy and strategic planning, operational excellence, quality management, specialist management areas, entrepreneurship and executive education, with fees only where a provider publishes them. ucep.in is independent and does not sell or promote any course.

Leadership and management skills training

Management skills training courses in Dubai usually cover leading teams, delegation, performance conversations, change, conflict and personal effectiveness. Examples with published details:

  • London Business School runs in-person courses in Dubai including Leading Teams for Emerging Leaders, Next-Level Leadership, High Performance People Skills for Leaders, Leading Change for Organisational Transformation and Women in Leadership. LBS does not publish dates or fees for these on its Dubai page.
  • University of Dubai, Centre for Executive Development lists Leadership in the Age of AI, 5 weeks online, at AED 7,800 (university site, October 2026).
  • EuroMaTech, a KHDA-approved institute in Dubai Media City, lists 5-day courses such as Dynamic Team Building and Leadership Cohesion and VUCA Leadership for Crisis Management at USD 5,950 each (provider site, October 2026).
  • Dale Carnegie Dubai, run by ORB Consultancy in Al Barsha, offers leadership training in person, online and blended; fees are not published.
  • Learners Ink lists Leadership Skills, Management Skills and Conflict Management courses in its skills training range.

Crisis management training courses and personal effectiveness courses are usually part of these institute catalogues rather than separate qualifications.

Strategy and strategic planning courses in Dubai

Strategy courses teach how to set direction, translate goals into plans and track execution with tools such as balanced scorecards and KPIs. Strategic planning training courses are also run for government and semi-government teams that work to published strategic plans.

  • London Business School lists Executing Strategy for Results among its Dubai courses.
  • EuroMaTech lists Putting Strategy into Action, 5 days in Dubai, at USD 6,950 for April 2027 dates (EuroMaTech site, Oct 2026).
  • MBRSG's executive education covers strategic planning for government leaders and runs professional diplomas, including one on agility in governance.

Related topics such as business process management, cost management, asset management and joint venture or public-private partnership (PPP) structuring are taught as short specialist courses by the same institutes. Ask whether the course is KHDA certified and what the final certificate says.

Operational excellence (OPEX), lean and Six Sigma courses

Operational excellence courses in Dubai teach lean (removing waste from processes) and Six Sigma (reducing variation using data). The belts run Yellow, Green and Black. Many training centres issue their own belt certificates; if you want an exam-based credential from an independent body, ASQ's Certified Six Sigma Green Belt (CSSGB) is one widely known option:

  • Exam fee USD 483 for non-members; ASQ members save USD 100; retakes USD 283 (ASQ site, Oct 2026).
  • Requires three years of full-time, paid work experience in the Green Belt body of knowledge, with no education waivers.
  • Computer-based exam of 110 questions in 4 hours 18 minutes.

For a classroom course, EuroMaTech lists a 5-day Lean Six Sigma Green Belt programme in Dubai at USD 5,950 (or USD 4,950 live online), with dates in December 2026 and in 2027 (EuroMaTech site, Oct 2026). Its page says the course prepares you for Green Belt level but does not name the certificate awarded, so ask before enrolling.

Lean Six Sigma certification courses in Dubai are only as credible as the body behind the certificate. Ask whether the exam is set by the training company itself or by an independent body such as ASQ.

Quality management and ISO courses in Dubai

Quality management courses cover quality control, quality assurance and ISO 9001 management systems. The most recognised short credential is the CQI and IRCA certified ISO 9001 Lead Auditor course, a 5-day programme that ends in an exam.

TUV Rheinland's UAE academy lists its Quality Management System Lead Auditor Certification (CQI IRCA) as a 5-day virtual classroom course at AED 3,150 including VAT (AED 3,000 before VAT) (TUV Rheinland UAE site, Oct 2026). Other certification bodies and institutes run similar courses; check the CQI and IRCA course number on the provider's page.

Quality control certification courses for inspectors on site are more technical; see engineering courses in Dubai and health and safety courses.

Public sector, healthcare and specialist management courses

Several mapped areas are specialist versions of management training:

  • Public sector management: MBRSG (Mohammed Bin Rashid School of Government) runs open enrolment courses and four professional diplomas for government and non-government leaders, in Arabic and English. Listed 2026 cohorts include Public Policy Development Using AI Tools and Strategic Partnership Management in Government. Fees are not published online.
  • Healthcare management: usually studied as a master's or MBA specialisation; see medical universities and health degrees in UAE.
  • Office administration and admin courses: short courses on office management, minute taking, records and executive assistance, run by many KHDA-permitted institutes. They lead to institute certificates.
  • Contracts, cost and procurement management: covered on logistics and procurement courses in Dubai.
  • Security, traffic, police and law enforcement management, ships and port management, retail management: offered as specialist short courses by consultancies and institutes, and often as in-house programmes for government entities. Check the provider's KHDA permit and ask for a sample certificate.

Entrepreneurship courses and feasibility studies in the UAE

Entrepreneurship courses in Dubai range from university electives to free programmes from government bodies. Dubai SME (the Mohammed Bin Rashid Establishment for Small and Medium Enterprises Development, part of Dubai's Department of Economy and Tourism) launched Majlis Al Mustaqbal in April 2026, a programme for young founders covering idea generation, business models, pitch preparation and public speaking, with mentors and investor access. The first edition ran 28 to 30 April 2026 at Dubai Founders HQ.

Searches for feasibility study services and feasibility study companies in the UAE are about hiring consultants, which this guide does not cover. If you want to learn to write a feasibility study yourself, look for project appraisal or business planning modules within entrepreneurship and finance courses; see finance courses in Dubai.

Executive courses do not usually carry academic credit. If you want credit that counts towards a degree, look at the credit-bearing micro-credentials some universities now offer, or a part-time MBA.

How to choose a leadership or management course in Dubai

  1. Define the outcome: a skill for your current job, a credential for your CV, or a degree for a career move.
  2. Check the licence: training institutes in Dubai need a KHDA permit; KHDA also attests certificates for authorised courses at AED 70 (KHDA service page, Oct 2026).
  3. Check the awarding body: ASQ, CQI and IRCA, a university, or the institute itself.
  4. Compare full cost and time: fees are often in USD for 5-day courses; ask about VAT, materials and exam fees.
  5. Fit your hours: look for weekend, evening or online options if you cannot leave work for a full week.
  6. Ask your employer: many leadership courses are bought by companies for staff, sometimes as in-house sessions.
