Types of AI training courses in Dubai
- AI literacy and generative AI for work: using ChatGPT, Copilot, Gemini and similar tools for writing, analysis and productivity. Usually 1 to 5 days, no coding.
- Role-specific AI courses: AI for HR, finance, marketing or logistics. Zabeel Institute and Edoxi both list these.
- Technical machine learning: Python, statistics, model building and deployment. Bootcamps and longer courses, plus vendor exams.
- Executive and emerging technology programmes: strategy, governance and ethics for managers.
- Degrees: bachelor's, master's and PhD in AI or data science.
If you do not code today, start with AI literacy and a role-specific course. If you want an AI engineering job, you will need Python and statistics first; see programming courses.

| Credential | Issuer | Level | Official exam fee | Notes |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Azure AI Fundamentals (AI-900) | Microsoft | Fundamentals | Priced by country; USD 44 to 99 for this tier (Microsoft price list, Nov 2024) | Zabeel Institute lists an AI-900 prep course |

Vendor exams prove you know a specific platform. For roles building models, a project portfolio and Python skills usually count for more than any single certificate.
Emerging technology training courses for managers
Searches for emerging technology training courses in Dubai are mostly from managers and government staff who need to make decisions about AI, automation and data rather than build systems. Options include:
- Dubai AI Academy at the Dubai AI Campus in DIFC, launched in April 2025, with programmes such as Leadership in the Age of AI and AI for Civil Service.
- MBZUAI executive programmes in Abu Dhabi, listed under executive education on its site.
- University short courses: UOWD's Graduate Certificate in Applied AI and executive learning short courses.
- Corporate training from institutes such as Edoxi and Zabeel, often run in-house for a team.
For broader management programmes, see leadership courses.
Study AI and data science at university
For a full qualification, three options stand out:
- MBZUAI (Masdar City, Abu Dhabi) is a graduate-level AI university offering an undergraduate AI degree, MSc, PhD and a professional Master of Applied Artificial Intelligence.
- UOWD (Dubai Knowledge Park) offers a newly launched Master of Applied Artificial Intelligence, plus graduate diploma and certificate exits, and a Bachelor of Computer Science with an AI and Big Data major. UOWD states its degrees are CAA accredited.
- Middlesex University Dubai (Dubai Knowledge Park) offers a BSc in AI and Data Science and an MSc in Data Science and AI with evening classes, which suits working adults.
Check federal accreditation if you need the degree for government employment. See universities in Dubai and UAE scholarships.
How to choose the best AI course in Dubai
- Match the level to your goal: tool use, role-specific application, or engineering.
- Check the licence: KHDA for Dubai institutes, CAA for degrees.
- Ask for the tools taught: named products and versions, not just "AI".
- Ask about data privacy: good courses teach what company data you should not paste into public AI tools.
- Count live hours: a 24-hour course over three days is different from 24 hours of recorded video.
- Separate exam fees: vendor certifications are paid to Microsoft or AWS in USD.
- Try the free option first: One Million Prompters takes four hours and shows whether you need more.
